SAFETY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF HORMONE THERAPY

Hormone therapy is recognized as a safe and highly effective treatment option for the majority of women, offering superior relief from menopausal symptoms compared to many other interventions. When initiated at the appropriate time, the health benefits generally outweigh the associated risks. These benefits include a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis, in addition to aiding in the maintenance of lean muscle mass, weight management, improved sleep and mood, and better vaginal health.

OPTIMAL TIMING FOR HORMONE THERAPY

The ideal time to begin hormone therapy is within a decade of menopause onset. It can also be initiated during perimenopause, a phase when many women experience significant symptoms such as mood fluctuations, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and weight gain. Additionally, there is no need to automatically discontinue therapy upon reaching age 60 or 65.

NON-HORMONAL OPTIONS

We support women in making informed choices about their health, whether they choose to use synthetic treatments or prefer a natural approach.
